Western Cape government to probe Bosasa contracts

Agrizzi’s testimony incriminates senior politicians in corruption and money laundering.

Following evidence by former Bosasa COO, Angelo Agrizzi at the Zondo Commission, Premier Helen Zille has ordered all Bosasa linked contracts to be investigated.

Agrizzi’s testimony incriminates senior politicians in corruption and money laundering.

According to Agrizzi some politicians and journalist were on Bosasa’s payroll for bribes.

Alan Winde, MEC for Economic Opportunities in the Western Cape said so far it looks like there are no connections between Bosasa and the Western Cape government. He said certainty will come only after an investigation is completed.

“From day one we said we want to run a really clean government and when anybody has been found with labor charges in the last ten years, those officials will be jailed,” he said.
