A high-speed car chase in Cape Town, on Friday 3 September left several vehicles damaged.

According to Radio 786 the high-speed chase started in King George Street in Ruyterwacht. The police managed to catch up with the suspects and arrested them on the corners of Racecourse and Koeberg Roads in Milnerton.

Several vehicles were damaged along the way, including a police patrol vehicle which flipped near Montague Drive and Koeberg Road during the chase.

The two suspects are expected to appear in court on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, possession of a stolen vehicle, and reckless and negligent driving.
