A Golden Arrow bus was torched during protest action in Philippi.
Stock Road has been closed between Govan Mbeki and Rochester roads due to the protest.
Golden Arrow says it has now diverted their buses travelling in the area: “Golden Arrow can confirm that one of our buses was attacked by a group of unknown perpetrators this morning. They threw stones at the bus and then set the bus alight. No injuries were reported and the motive for the attack at this stage is unknown. We are diverting our buses in the area between Swartklip and Eisleben Road.”
