Unique R 10-billion mixed-use precinct in the making for Cape Town

Amdec Group, the same development company behind Melrose Arch in Johannesburg is in the process of developing Cape Town’s first large -scale, inner-city, mixed- use precinct.

The precinct named Harbour Arch is expected to take up to 5-10 years to complete at an estimated cost of R 10-billion.

Nicholas Stopforth, Amdec’s Managing Director old BusinessDay that “This is our largest development in Cape Town and we are very excited about it. We launched the first tower for sale off-plan in October 2017, and have almost sold out of residential units. We will begin constructing the tower in February and will then gradually roll out the others.”

Like Melrose arch the Harbour will be contained in its own precinct, house a total of 6 towers with 200 000 square meters available to let.

The development will also include luxury apartments and a hotel partnership with Marriot International.
