Two-year-old boy dies in a bus crash near Wilderness Heights

A two-year-old boy has died in a bus crash near Wilderness Heights outside George in the Western Cape on Saturday night.

The bus was carrying members of the Excelsior rugby team from Plettenberg Bay.

According to reports the driver lost control and the vehicle, with 35 occupants rolled down an embankment.

A 2-year-old boy, who is the son of one of the players, died on the scene.

The bus has now been recovered.
