Trusted Interns and Uber offer free rides to job interviews

Trusted Interns, a Cape Town start up has partnered with Uber to help struggling job seekers get free rides to job interviews in a campaign called #GiveTheYouthAChance.

Trusted Interns is a job seekers platform that helps connect prospective employees with those seeking new staff and now they have added an offer to sponsor free Uber rides to their website.

This new feature connects to their bigger three-part campaign aimed at giving hope, providing better access and more people the opportunity to find jobs in 2020.

According to Trusted Interns, their statistics has shown that January and February are busy times for young job seekers.

Speaking to Good Things Guy, Trusted Interns founder Jaryd Raizon said:

“Can you imagine being smart, educated and hungry to earn an income to support yourself and your family, but you don’t have enough money to take a taxi to an interview? This is the reality for millions of South African youth. We need to do more to remove this roadblock.”
