Western Cape police confirmed that six bodies were found dead at a shooting scene at Khayelitsha Site C last night.
So far, no details have been put forward regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident or the identities of the deceased.
Speaking to the media, Western Cape police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said investigations are underway after police were called to the scene last night.
Organised crime detectives are hard at work, busy with an investigation which was initiated immediately. Details of the deceased persons are currently being determined

This is the third mass shooting in Khayelitsha in just two months following similar shootings in Endlovini and Enkanini informal settlement which claimed a total of 11 lives in March.
