Well known cruiser found sinking in Knysna

“We have our team investigating and as we had no passengers on board overnight there are no injuries or casualties,” Featherbed Management said.

The Paddle Cruiser, a well-known boat in Knysna was found steadily sinking in the morning .

The Paddle Cruiser was not manned at the time and it is suspected she started to take water from unknown causes during the night.

“We have our team investigating and as we had no passengers on board overnight there are no injuries or casualties,” Featherbed Management said.

“The Featherbed Management and team as well as NSRI has the situation under control and we will update as soon as we are able to.”

The Paddle Cruiser is South Africa’s only paddle-driven vessel.

It is well-known for its lunch-time cruises, and is viewed as a permanent fixture in the area.
