VIDEO: 50-year-old Capetonian who won R232 million jackpot says he played the same lotto numbers for years

“The education of my kids will come first,”

The 50 year old man who won the largest lottery jackpot in the country’s history, a whooping R232-million said he had played the same lotto numbers for years.

According to the Capetonian, who asked to remain anonymous his motto was “one day is one day.”

While speaking to eNCA, the jackpot winner said he wants to put the money to good use.

He said the greatest joy was that the money would enable him to provide for his children’s education.

“The education of my kids will come first,” he said.

According to lottery company, Ithuba, winners get every cent tax free, therefore the Capetonian got the full R232, 132,527.69 million.
