Table Mountain Cableway to close for six weeks

all the facilities, including the Table Mountain Café, WiFi Lounge and Exit Shop, as well as the restrooms at the summit of Table Mountain, will be closed.

Table Mountain Aerial Cableway has announced it will be closing for six weeks from July 2019 to August 2019 to conduct annual maintenance.

The service will be down from Monday July 8 to Sunday August 19.

Locals and tourists planning on visiting Table Mountain in the winter months have been asked to take this into consideration and plan accordingly.

During the six-week maintenance period, all the facilities, including the Table Mountain Café, WiFi Lounge and Exit Shop, as well as the restrooms at the summit of Table Mountain, will be closed.

Those celebrating birthdays that fall over these days can rest assured as the Cableway has confirmed they may claim a free birthday ticket a week before or after the maintenance closure.
