Suspect wanted for 9 murders and other crimes nabbed

Man accused of murdering off-duty Delft cop already facing murder charge

EWN is reporting that a Western Cape suspect wanted in connection with 9 murders, 12 attempted murders and other serious crimes has been arrested at an estate in Paarl. The unnamed suspected has been on the most wanted list for over a year.

The suspect was arrested by the police’s anti gang unit.

According to EWN,

The Police’s Frederick Van Wyk says the suspect is linked to crimes including the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition, 12 attempted murders, nine murders, intimidation, housebreaking with intent to kill, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, robbery and malicious damage to property. Additional charges could be added, following further analysis of other dockets.

The suspect is believed to be 26 years old.
