The five SANParks rangers involved in a disagreement with cyclist Nicholas Dlamini are going to have a hearing regarding their suspensions with SANParks officials today.

The men were served with suspension letters this past weekend after a twitter video of the SANParks rangers manhandling Nicholas Dlamini went viral.

“We’ll certainly meet with them individually and accept their response. From there, we’ll make an assessment and announce whether all five of them have been suspended. But at this particular moment, they’ve just been served with letters of intent to place them on probationary suspension.”

X-ray images posted by Dlamini’s friend on twitter showed exactly where the bone was broken, Dlamini had an operation on his arm over the weekend and was said to be recovering well.
