One Pastor was killed and 4 others injured after a light motor vehicle collided with an emergency response vehicle on the N1 outside Paarl between the Huguenot Tunnel and the Tollgate on Monday night.

According to a report by The Christian Recorder two of the injured pastors are in a critical condition while the other 2 are in a stable condition.

“A few hours ago there was a tragic car accident in the 15th Episcopal District outside of Paarl, South Africa. We have lost one of our pastors with two in very critical condition fighting for their lives and two others stable but also critical,”- TCR.

A report by Drakenstein Farm Watch said a sedan with 4 persons slammed into a Tolcon emergency vehicle seriously injuring all involved.

This was the second serious accident in the Drakenstein Municipal area on Monday.
