Firefighters are battling flare ups erupting in the Overstrand area. The initial fire which was started over two week ago had been contained on Friday but flared up again all the way to Franskraal.
The wildfires have destroyed over 30 houses in Franskraal.
Lester Smith, Overstrand fire chief said the fire fighters are struggling to gain the upper hand as reports of flare ups keep coming in.
Shelton April who is accused of starting the fire will appear in court again today.
