MyCiTi bus service is set to expand its services to Wynberg in the southern suburbs.
Mayco member for Transport in the City of Cape Town, Felicity Purchase, said the expansion will have a normal route down Wetton Road and a trunk route across South road and Ottery Road to connect the south-east with the Wynberg CBD.

Phase 2 of the expansion plan includes the Blue Downs corridor with feeders, a Khayelitsha- Century City corridor, Klipfontein corridor, and Eerste River- Blouberg corridor.
In the longer term, there is Strandfontein-CBD corridor, Symphony Way corridor, Kraaifontein-Century City corridor, and Gordon’s Bay-Retreat corridor, a Westlake -Belleville corridor, and Voortrekker Road.
