Motorists from neighboring towns such as George, Mossel Bay and Knysna continue to drive up the pass, disobeying road closure signs.
The Swartberg Pass has been closed since Thursday afternoon following heavy snowfall in the last few days.
Authorities said the conditions of the road are extremely dangerous even for 4Ă—4 vehicles.
People in the Garden Route and Karoo have been requested to share the important information that the Swartberg Pass remains closed.
