The African National Congress (ANC) has stepped up it’s election campaign in the Western Cape with Secretary General Ace Magashule kicking off a two day, door-to-door campaign in Philippi.
Magashule said the Western Cape is ripe for the taking and believes the ANC can make inroads after the 8 May elections.
People still have hope… in fact, they think that the ANC is in charge of the Western Cape.
Magashule also said the party was only focused on the election and won’t be distracted by allegations against him and others, made in the explosive book titled Gangster State by Pieter-Louis Myburgh.
We are focusing on elections, people are trying to distract us and [deviate] our attention and focus.
