Four adults shot dead in Hout Bay

According to eyewitness accounts, between 70 and 150 rounds were fired by the attackers.

Four adult males were shot dead and two injured in Hout Bay at approximately 6.45am on Monday morning.

The gruesome killings have been allegedly linked to ongoing taxi violence in the area.

Reports say, unknown suspects opened fire at the Hout Bay taxi rank this morning, killing four adult males in the process. Two additional passengers were injured during the incident.

According to eyewitness accounts, between 70 and 150 rounds were fired by the attackers.

Hout Bay Main Road between Payne Street and HR Mandela Street has been closed following the incident.

Just last week, a man believed to be a taxi driver was also found shot dead in the area, and eight suspects were arrested in connection to his death.
