Capetonians are in for an extremely cold and rainy weekend because of the cut-off low pressure system.

Matroosberg Reserve gets first snowfall for 2022

Meanwhile Matroosberg Reserve in the Western Cape has shared a photo of the first snow dusting 2022.

“The very first dusting of snow on Matroosberg. The season is really late this year, but hopefully this is the promise of great snow to follow Keep warm and be Blessed.”

The snow on the mountain is just a light dusting, however more can be expected.
