Dial-a -Ride back in service

Dial-a-Ride resumed operations in Cape Town on Saturday January 5, after interruptions in the service during the procurement of a new long- term six-year contract.

Felicity Purchase the Cape Town Mayoral committee member for transport said, “I want to thank our partners for going the extra mile to ensure that the service is back in operation in time for the start of school year and the return to work for many of the users.’

The City of Cape Town received confirmation on Friday that applications for operating licences and the roadworthy test for the vehicles had been finalised.
