Madelein Dippenaar from Paarl Gimnasium High School is the top performing student in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations.
Graça Machel has served the university for 20 years and her second term ends on 31 December.
She passed every year of study with distinction and obtained distinctions in every one of the 11 domains of the final-year examinations.
