Bishops Diocesan College rocked by sex scandal involving teacher and pupil

Elite Rondebosch school rocked by a sex scandal.

Bishops Diocesan College in Rondebosch has been rocked by allegations of a sex scandal.

According to The Weekend Argus, a woman teacher at Bishops Diocesan College is allegedly involved in a sexual relationship with a 18-year-old matric pupil and she has previously refused to end the relationship.

The pupil, who identity is not know yet but is believed to be the son of renowned doctors, is said to have tried to end the relationship but the teacher refused and even sent threatening WhatsApp messages.

She resigned from the school on Thursday when the matter came to light and has deleted her social media accounts.

The school released a media statement admitting that one of it’s teachers is involved in a “serious misconduct” case.

Bishops Diocesan College principle Guy Pearson said,

Bishops is currently investigating allegations that there has been serious misconduct by one of its teachers.

“The teacher has resigned and the school is in the process of conducting a full investigation. The school takes this matter extremely seriously and requests the public to respect the dignity and privacy of those concerned.
