Bishop Lavis kidnapping suspect "identity" released

The Bishop Lavis Family Violence Child Abuse Sexual Offences Unit have issued a police identikit of a woman they believe kidnapped 2-month-old  Kai-isha Meniers last week.

Kai-isha Meniers was kidnapped outside of a shop in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town on Saturday, 30 April 2022.

A computer-generated photo of the suspect, identified by the distraught mother, has been made public by police officials.

Anyone with any information or who can identify the person in the identikit is kindly requested to contact the investigation officer, Detective Sergeant Thembisa Buqa on 073 519 3384 or Crime Stop on 08600-10111.

Information will be treated confidentially and you may remain anonymous.
