Cape Town: Another Golden Arrow bus petrol bombed this morning

Another Golden Arrow bus was petrol bombed this morning and left standing alight on the R300 Northbound.

City of Cape Town spokesperson Richard Coleman said, one female passenger was injured in the incident. The severity of her injuries have not yet been revealed.

Last week another Golden Arrow bus was petrol bombed along Steve Biko and Govan Mbeki drives. No one was injured in the incident

Last month on April 25 separate incidents of buses going up in flames were reported, a MyCiti bus caught alight, while a Golden Arrow bus was petrol bombed.

The MyCiti bus caught fire on Nelson Mandela Boulevard near Hospital Bend as a result of an engine malfunction.
