A video of a Cape Town driver hitting the side of a mountain while driving in wet weather is going viral.
The accident which was shared on Twitter by @Blackers722 now has over 8K views, however it is unclear the exact date the accident took place.
The incident was captured on a dash-cam and shows that the driver in the footage was speeding on the wet road.
In the video the driver can be seen cutting around bends on blind spots, on the road which has a mountain on one side and an ocean on the other.

Luckily there was no on-coming traffic when the accident occurred, it could have turned out much worse.
Twitter users have reacted to the video, with some accusing the driver who filmed the accident of speeding as well.

Nothing to do with rain. These idiots were both racing, and when the front one sighted a standing Fortuna, he panicked. Cutting around bends on blind spots like that is madness. I wish dash cams like this can be used for law enforcement.
