A video of a boy slapping a fellow pupil in class is doing the rounds on social media and is believed to have been recorded at Zwelethemba Secondary School in Worcester, Western Cape.
In the video, boy is seen moving around a class room before slapping a girl who is seated by her desk and then walks away with some pupils cheering him on.
Both are in school uniform and are watched by other pupils.
The video was shared on Twitter by Active Citizen Agenda.

Some Twitter users have called for the victim to open a case of common assault, others have called for the boy to be expelled however some seem to be justifying the pupils actions.
May the victim open a common assualt charge against the bully, that way people will learn that there is consequences for every action.
