Petition started against SA satanic church

A petition has been started against the first Satanic Church of South Africa after the church founders announced that they are open for business earlier this week.

The Church is based in Century City, Cape Town and was officially registered in February this year.

Since news broke of South Africa’s first Satanic church the co-founders, Riaan Swiegelaar and Adri Norton have recieved a lot of feedback both positive and negative.

The latest being a petition calling on the government to shut down the church.

The petition was started by an individual identified as Sfiso Mbatha on the change.org page.

“I believe that if we promote this Satanic Church than we are basically excepting evil as something that is good for our society when in fact its not which could result into a future that we dont want for our future generation,” Mbatha said.

The petition has gained momentum with over 1900 signatories so far.

The petition is targeting 2,500 signatures.
