According to the Democratic Alliance (DA) on a Twitter post over 75% of all jobs created in South Africa came from the Western Cape.

This claim was confirmed by the fact-checking group, Africa Check which based it’s findings on Statistics South Africa’s (Stats SA) Quarterly Labour Force Survey for January to March 2018.
It seems these figures have been taken out of context as they’re only based on part of the report. The DA took considerable fire on their post with some people not happy with the way they spun these figures in their favour.
